Igor Cibotari’s Project to Support Roma Students Successfully Implemented
The project initiated by Igor Cibotari during the Summer School on National Minorities' Rights has been successfully completed. Roma students from the village of Dușmani received all the necessary materials for the school year, thanks to the support of our partners at the European Endowment For Democracy.
Mihai Peicov, Executive Director of the Civic Initiatives Center for Ethnic Minorities, emphasized the importance of donations for children from low-income families, noting that such support can make a significant difference in their lives. "This project was initiated to reduce the illiteracy rate in my community, the Roma, and to motivate children to continue their studies and build a brighter future," said Igor Cibotari, the project's initiator.
